The weather is getting really warm here so after work we can't help but spend as much time as we can outside. You guessed it...we headed to the beach. We have learned that when the tide is coming up, the fish are biting! We both caught at least 10 fish yesterday. They are small enough to be sardines but the thrill is in the catch! :). At one point we were getting so many bites that we started to have a contest on who could catch the most. I won't mention who won ;). After awhile, I got tired of reeling in all those fish ;) so I started taking some pictures. The goal was to get a picture that made the waves look foggy. In order to do this you have to leave your shutter open for a long time. What makes this difficult is that I don't have a strong enough filter on my camera so I overexpose my pictures most of the time, and my tripod doesn't keep my camera steady enough. I shot about 200 pictures and out came a few worth keeping! The sun stays out until almost 11 pm here (no kidding) so we left at 10:30 last night not realizing it was so late. Tonight...back to the beach! Craig is cooking us up some dinner "to go" as I type!
