Have you met Joe Black?

About 10 years ago, back in college, Craig asked me to watch the movie “Meet Joe Black.” It didn’t seem like my type of movie but I reluctantly watched. When I say “watched” I mean kinda watching, kinda sleeping. Well over the years he has asked me over and over to really to watch it (without sleeping), as he claims it to be one of his favorite movies. I’ve always resisted really watching it for the following reasons:

1) It is a pretty long movie.
2) Brad Pitt acts kinda strange in it.
3) I generally don’t care for Brad Pitt movies.
4) I attempted to watch it too many times and fell asleep.

Well this last week, I decided to really watch it all the way through. It turns out…I LOVED IT! Yes it is long, and yes Brad Pitt acts strange in it, but it is a really good movie! By the end of it, I was a ball of tears. The movie is about life, integrity, honesty, honor, and of course love. Craig has always said he admires the character the old man plays in the movie. At last I get why! I highly recommend this movie. It starts off kinda slow (hence the reason I always fell asleep), but it really has excellent character development and it really is good.
With that said, I’ll leave you with a quote from the movie:

updates galore!

Truthfully I've been putting off posting pictures because I don't like working with pictures on this laptop. I can not wait until our computer is out of storage so I can start "true" blogging again. I couldn't resist however. We have had one AMAZING summer and I had to share some pics from this summer! I'll try and go in order....

First up, a special date night to celebrate our new move to CO!

Next up, Chef boy is he! Breakfast in bed (but I had to get out of bed to take this picture :))

And next, our anniversary! I got a yummy/beautiful sooooprise at the door!

ooooo and then the Renaissance festival! If you've never been to one, you've got to go!

Then, a trip to CO Springs...my birthplace! We even found the ice cream shop we went to as kids! It looked exactly the same!

and then of course...my favorite...camping! We went to WY and went camping with Craig's family. It was so much fun. Fishing, hiking, swimming (with a big wet dog), and of course, a lot of really good food!

Next up...the WONDERFUL trip to Seattle to close on our house. Before we left we stayed in a beautiful hotel downtown seattle and treated ourselves to a one hour massage! What a great way to leave town!!!

And then, the Broncos game. Although they lost, we still had a blast! Absolutely amazing seats!

So overall, one great summer! *Most* of our summer adventures are over...but there is a possibility we may have a few more up our sleeves ;).

Go Broncs Go!

Today...off to the see the Broncos beat the Detriot Lions! Hopefully we will get some good pics! :) And it is a BEAUTIFUL day here in Colorado. Nice, sunny, warm. Perfect for a nice day at the stadium rockin with the Broncs.

Lucky Us!

Phew! We sold our house! We couldn't be happier. We can now officially "move" to CO! We've been house shopping and have found some great potentials, but for now, we are enjoying a mortgage free life. :)
