Snowmobiling

A few weeks ago, we went on a snowmobiling trip with a few of our friends. I have to say...I was quite nervous not knowing what to expect, but it turned out to be a blast! We snowmobiled all the way up to 12,500 feet and saw some amazing views. Apparently I'm the slowest snowmobiler known to man...but I sure felt I was going super fast! It was hard to feel "in control" on these things, so maybe I was a little slow, but Craig was nice enough to stay behind me to make sure I didn't get lost behind everyone :).

Every year, 5280 (Denver's elevation) is celebrated. Tons of restaurants in Denver offer a meal for two for a cost of $52.80. This generally includes a 5 course meal. Really fun, really cheap, and super yummy. This year we went to a Brazilian Steak House. If you've never been to one...you've gotta go! Basically a bunch of waiters walk around with huge chunks of meat (every kind you can think of...steak, lamb, chicken, sausage, etc.) and cut off pieces and put it on your plate. It is all you can eat and I'm telling you ....it is yummy! To make a night of it, we jumped on the train and headed out! (train rides into downtown are always an adventure.

The Neuman Family Cinema

As any wife knows, a husband's dream is a man cave. Our basement is set-up for the possibilities of a pretty good man cave...or so I've been told. For months, Craig has been talking and talking about getting a projector and a "BIG SCREEN" as the beginnings of his man cave. Finally one day I was thinking that I should probably agree to this whole projector idea. I came home from work excited to tell him that I finally agree that we can go ahead and get this "BIG SCREEN." He looked at me with utter excitement and then said, "oh good! You'll be happy to hear then...that it will be arriving Friday!" Yes indeed, he had already ordered it earlier that day. So the project began.
