I need your help!

Remember my blog post about precious little Jamsie? Maybe some of you have been following his blog (http://jamescamdensikes.blogspot.com/).

A few weeks ago, Jamsie was called back to heaven and is now with Jesus.

If you have read even one post from Jamsie's blog, you would quickly learn that his favorite animal was the giraffe. Please go to his blog and read the last couple of posts. His precious mommy and daddy are trying to get the baby giraffe at the Dallas Zoo named after Jamsie.
Lets help put a smile back on this precious family's face and get the baby giraffe at the Dallas Zoo named after Jamesie! Please feel free to post this on your blogs, Facebook pages, Twitter account and any other social media you may use. What an EASY way to bless this family!

Thank you everyone!

Did I mention....

It's a boy! Truthfully, when we found out, neither of us were at all surprised. When the ultra-sound tech told us, we both kind of looked at her like, "we know." We had just known all along. I don't know how, we just did. There was no doubt in either of our minds. I really wanted to pick out a boy and girl name before we found out the sex but Craig wouldn't even talk about girl names because he said there was no point...it is a boy. So, we didn't have one girl name picked out....only boy names. So little bean pop is our now our precious little boy. We are so excited, I can't even tell you. In the words of my little brother, "a boy is good for you guys, because Craig is a lot of fun to play with!"
Now that we know bean is a boy, his nursery is well underway. We already have the furniture on order, the bedding bought, and my decorating ideas are all on paper. Craig has been very busy painting and cleaning up the nursery. It is coming together very nicely. I can't wait for it to be finished! It has to be absolutely perfect for our absolutely perfect little man.

21 weeks

Okay....this one is 3 weeks late, but for consistency sake, I'll put it up. I'm 24.5 weeks now, so we'll need to post an update, but here we are at 21 weeks.

A getting big, but proud mama.

A shrinking, but happy papa! As I get bigger, Craig seems to get smaller :).

While we were in Montana, my mom did a little photoshoot of Craig and I together. They turned out really well, but I haven't had a chance to get all the pictures downloaded and our of their RAW format. Stay tuned!

Trip to Montana

In July, we made a trip up to Montana to visit my family and to be there for our God-daughter's baptism. We had such a nice trip, and it was a very much needed vacation. Here is our trip in pictures:
Little brother and Craig getting ready to play some hoops.

Wyatt has the ball!

I love watching these two play!

This one needs some explaining! Mom and I decided to dig up some horseradish out of the garden and make some horseradish sauce (my favorite!). This stuff is potent so we did our grinding in the garage, and this pregnant lady didn't want to take any chances with smells, so I was in full protective gear.

Our God daughter and her dad and mom (my bestie) after the baptism. Isn't she the cutest thing you ever saw! I got to hold her while she was getting baptised. She did so good, and didn't cry when the cold water splashed over her head waking her from a nap!
After the baptism.
Ava and her mom and dad. Cute family. Love that little girl!

Renaissance Festival

I am behind on posting about our summer adventures. First up, the Renaissance Festival. We go every year and it is so much fun. The festival is held in the Black Forest and it is literally a little town that opens up once a year full of food, activities, and just strange folks. We go for two reasons. 1) The food. Can't beat a good turkey leg. 2) People watching. People come dressed in some pretty neat costumes, but furthermore, people get into their roles. We love to sit, eat, and just watch. Here is the festival in a picture summary:

"Uh...the king doesn't have a head!"

"um...no...wait! Where is the queen's head."
I love the pickle barrel man! There is nothing better than a pickle out of a wooden pickle barrel!
So...this was the "big cat" show. I am so glad we sat way in the back, because these people had no idea what they were doing. These cats were on these big leashes and these "cat handlers" literally had no control of them.
I swear this lady really believed she was mother goose. She was begging me to come pet this goose. I passed. I wasn't scared of the goose, but I was scared of her.
I don't know what this thing was, but it was the one crazy costume.
I LOVE this fairy. She doesn't talk, and she hands out these pretty little stones to all of the kids. If there are real fairies in this world...this woman is it.
The very TALL king and queen.
This guy = HILARIOUS. You can pay a few bucks and throw tomatoes at him as he makes fun of you. It is serious entertainment. I have to cringe when a kid walks up, because this guy has mercy for no one. He asked one kid, if his parents knew what birthcontrol was. It was so terrible, yet so funny.
Here is the sword fight.
Here is Craig getting ready to check out his bow and arrow skills. Overall...pretty good, but I'm glad we don't have to rely on it for survivial!
