Blog change

So...have you noticed...my blog is getting wider! I'm playing around with the pixels and I'm trying to find a good width. Please let me know how my blog looks on your computer...too wide? Do you have to scroll from side to side to see the entire thing? Comments please! Also...I am adding a menu bar at the top, but it is under construction so nothing is clickable on it just yet...

Nerd night

I had to post these pics...too classic not to make public. It was nerd night at youth group...and we gladly participated, in fact, I think it came a little too naturally. Those pants can't go up much higher. The shirt (Future Mrs. Malakar...thanks Polly for this shirt...I knew I'd find a venue to wear it in pubic! I was informed by the kids that Sanjaya Malakar is from Seattle...a little too close to home to wear this one out in public again!)

The Neumans Visit

Two days...three tests...finally done...time to blog!

Craig's mom and dad came up to Anacortes to visit for a week...and we did our very best not to wear them out...too much. It was a full week, but we had a lot of fun with them. Their trip consisted of a ferry ride to the San Juan Islands (complete with an Anacortes traffic jam), lots of yummy food including dinner by the sea (spotting some seals), a home cooked meal with fresh crab, a hike through the forestlands (resulting in a very wet Goose), a trip to the casino for a few games of black jack (hmmm...I think Charlene was the only one that won!), a game of golf (you'll have to ask Craig Sr about who won...there was something about not having his own clubs?? ;)), and some local fireworks! All this...in yes...all in one week. Here are some pics from their trip.

Little Brother visits....the last couple days

School sort of took over my life right after my little brother left, so I never got a chance to post pics from the last couple of days he was here. We fished, biked and went to the Mariners game. The last bike ride was super cool since we spotted about 10 seals. They were pretty close to us, so we got a good look at them. The Mariners game was probably the highlight from this trip. We were amoung the first 15,000 fans...so we got free T-shirts! How cool! The best part (other than the fact that the Mariners kicked the D-backs butts) was everyone was to wave their shirts in the air after a home run. It was so funny because Wyatt got his shrit off so fast and started swinging it around like crazy! He was so excited! You have to understand, he is CRAZY about baseball. It is pretty much all he ever talks about...he knows every player, every stat, everything you need to know about baseball (his nickname...Mr. Baseball). The kid loves the sport. Everyone around us was cracking up because he was so funny, and so into the game. So...overall, we had the best time with him...and I miss him already :(. Wyatt swinging his shirt around. This upcoming week Craig's mom and dad are coming in to town! We are so excited. I hope they are ready for a busy week! (We tend to wear out our guests!)

Have I lost my mind?!?!?

3 classes, two months! Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, and Microbiolgy Lab. These are semester long classes compacted into 2 short months...oh and a 1.5 hour long commute to Seattle for classes. Oh boy, what in the world am I doing...back to studying I go.
