A weekend of camping...

This weekend: Camping galore! We returned to the same spot we found at the beginning of the summer. We call it "our spot" and it is perfect for a nice get away weekend. Here are some pics from our trip. See any fish in the river???

Craig's Birthday

Craig's Birthday or Birthweek as he calls it...and as we celebrate :), consisted of a lot of new fishing gear! He got a new motor for his inflatable boat, a boat anchor, some fishing pole holders (one for his car, one for the garage), a surf casting fishing pole and reel....and an ice cube tray. I think the ice cube tray was his favorite. :)

Alright...Here it is..

As you all know...Craig has been trying to catch a big fish from the shore since we've moved here. We'll it has been quite the learning curve, but he has finally figured out the best bait, where to go, when to go, what pole to use, what reel to use...etc. Well, out he went last week and look what he came home with!

Time is on my side now...until the end of Sept...back to school. Craig and I are out to celebrate tonight going to a band/BBQ thingy majig that his company sponsors. We don't know anything else...but...we gto free tickets so we're going!

Stay posted...a BIG event happened this last week at the Neuman household.. Pictures and a post to come...but let's just say...I'm very proud of Craig! :). He accomplished a goal...he's been going for since we moved here! Oh...and Craig's b-day pictures are to come too. :)

2.5 weeks left of school. If you EVER want to make a summer last long...go to summer school!

School in summary:

O-Chem: golly....way too engineery ;)

Micobiology: Seriously love it. Yep, I'm that geek...that will read the textbook for fun. I have indeed read sections we aren't even covering in class...because it is so darn interesting. I mean seriously, reading about all these strange diseases, that's cool stuff my friends. All I can say...don't forget to get your vaccination booster shots! :)

Micorbiology Lab: Love it! Growing weird looking stuff on petri dishes doesn't get any better. We even grew bacteria that glowed in the dark, who would have thought! Bacteria...you would think it had a brain, the stuff is smart...scary smart. It can do some crazy stuff.

So that's the update for now. I'll be back to my ol' bloggin self before long and fix that silly menu bar at the top. :)
