There are few moments in life that truly take your breath away. Yesterday, one happened to me. I was talking to my dearest friend Davis on the phone. We were talking about how her pregnancy was going (she is ~4 months along at this point). During our conversation she said she had something to ask me. She continued on to explain how Jesse (her hubby) and her had been discussing God Parents for their new baby. She then told me that her and Jesse would like if Craig and I would be the God Parents of their new baby!! Of course I was ecstatic! What an honor! I couldn’t wait to tell Craig. We both feel extremely honored with such a blessing!!! They have chosen us over every other person in their lives to be the godparents of the most precious person in their lives. There are few honors greater than this. I never had God Parents myself, but I do know they can take on many roles in a child’s life depending on the wishes of the parents. We are so excited to learn what role Davis and Jesse want us to play in their child’s life as his/her Godparents. And further…on Saturday we get to find out if the new baby is a boy or a girl! Whooo hoooo!
