Snow Day!

Denver has stayed true to its word the last couple of weeks. Random. Last week the news made a HUGE deal about this HUGE snow storm that was certainly going to shut the city down. Of course everyone gets excited because this means cancelled school and work. Well, the morning of the snow storm we all woke up to a slight dusting on the ground. To work and school everyone went. And then...yesterday, we started hearing about a snow storm that was blowing in over night. The news said it wasn't going to be too big of a deal, as it would clear by the afternooon. So this morning we woke up and we have almost 8 inches on the ground. We are still under a blizzard warning! Craig and I walked up our driveway to see if our neighborhood had been plowed to determine if it was worth plowing our driveway to try and get out for work. Our neighborhood roads have not even been touched. We don't have a prayer getting out! No big deal, we have some awesome bosses and they both told us to stay put and work from home! Most of the schools are cancelled as well. Yay! Blessed are we! So, today, we are snuggled up at home, just working away! Have I mentioned how much we love Colorado?

Goose LOVES the snow. He got so excited when he saw the snow this morning he ran outside and wouldn't stop running until he actually made himself get a stomach ache and get sick. Poor thing. He is recovering and ready to play again.
