WALL-E!

My sister has been telling me to see this movie since it came out. She loved the movie and fell in love with Wall-e. So much…that she wanted a Wall-e. In telling Craig that she wanted a Wall-e, he excitedly jumped right in explaining how we can totally get her one, they are selling all over, and they are a really popular stuffed toy right now. I had to laugh, and then explain to him…no…she doesn’t want a toy Wall-e, she wants the real Wall-e. “Oh”, he said (sounding kind of disappointed). Maybe we’ll get her a toy Wall-e for a wedding gift.

We finally went to see Wall-e. We have a local drive-in theatre that we love to go to (Blue Fox Drive In Theatre). They show double features, it is cheap, and they have the best snack bar known to man kind… seriously! It feels like a step back in time when we go. They show old advertisements, they show the Looney tunes prior to the movie, and they even do the national anthem before the show begins. There is nothing better than putting your PJs on, grabbing a blanket and a pillow, and watching a movie in your car. It is a lot of fun. The bad news….I always fall asleep! It is so irritating. Maybe I shouldn’t go in my PJs? I was really enjoying Wall-e and then boom, I woke up and the movie was over. I stayed awake for the second movie Kit Kittridge which was…slow…but cute…and really I have no idea how I stayed awake for this one and not Wall-e. So Polly…yes, we did finally go to Wall-e, I just didn’t see all of it.
