The blog posts have been light because we have been busy! We are in full winter mode around here, with snow just about every day this last week and temperatures as low as -30 degrees! We have been taking full advantage of the weather and enjoying every minute of it. So in short, here is a summary of our snowy days:
Skiing at
Breck! The snow is AMAZING this year, and boy does it feel good to get back on
skis!
Craig's first time out in a good....20 some years. This man is a natural. I have never seen someone pick up skiing so quickly. He's almost ready to race me :).

After this first day....we were exhausted!

After skiing, we've made it our little tradition to fix ourselves a yummy snack...

And then head out to our favorite spot in the house...our hot tub!

Seriously...there is nothing better than coming home from a long day of skiing and hopping in this tub of hot.

And when it is too cold to go outside...plenty to do inside. This winter I've decided to teach myself how to play the guitar. I love it (and so does Goose)!

Or I just stay inside and enjoy this snowy view...

While Craig takes care of all the snow in our driveway!

This is only one day's worth of snow...and if you look closely, you can see Craig is smiling pretty big! He loves his "
deere john" (as he calls it).

When ever it snows outside, Craig gets super excited to get out and plow. He even asks our neighbors if he can plow their driveways as well...for fun. :)

And then there are our Friday nights (aka date nights), when we want to go out to a nice dinner...so we head to
Casa Bonitas. Now if you've ever been here, or if you've watched South Park, you probably laughed when I said "nice" and "
Casa Bonita" in the same sentence.
Casa Bonita is a
Mexican food restaurant where there is a huge waterfall in the middle with cliff divers. It is all pretty cheesy and the food is terrible, but for us...it was a perfect Friday night (and we sang "
Casa Bonita,
Casa Bonita" South Park style all the way there!

"Yummy" taco salad at
Casa Bonitas :)
So far, so good! I hope you are enjoying winter days as much as we are! Now...time for the super bowl!
